30 Years Ago Today- Blur Release Debut LP ‘Leisure’

30 years ago today, a young British four-piece named Blur released their debut LP Leisure. Before Damon Albarn had any footprints in his various multi-genre endeavors and before Brit-pop was really even a thing, Blur kicked things off with this strong debut statement that featured three singles and a title “Sing” on the Trainspotting soundtrack. While Blur would go on to record seven more albums, and Leisure will never rank as their best, it’s still a must-have listen for those that like 60s pop hooks and big brash guitars. Check Leisure out in full below..
