30 years ago today (12/23/92), one of the most innovative and inspiring guitarists of all time- Eddie Hazel of Parliament-Funkadelic passed away at the age of 42 from cancer. Combining the versatility of Hendrix and the funky edge of someone out of James Brown’s band, Hazel oozed of charismatic soul that has put him in a league of his own.
