30 Years Ago Today – Guns N’ Roses Debut Epic & Expensive “November Rain” Video

30 years ago today (6/6/92), Guns N’ Roses’ cinema-quality “November Rain” video debuted on MTV. The nine-minute video was the most expensive MTV video ever made to this point, costing $1.5 million. It was reported that much of the funds were spent constructing a church in the desert so Slash could solo in front of it. The video received constant airplay in the early 90’s back when rock was still a thing alongside Aerosmith’s “Crazy,” “Amazing” and “Cryin'” that all received constant playing.
