30 years ago today (11/17/92), Ice Cube released his third studio LP The Predator. Although not considered his best work (that often goes to 1991’s Death Certificate), The Predator is Ice Cube’s most commercially successful, reaching 2x platinum status in the United States, and also containing his most successful single, “It Was a Good Day.” The album followed Ice Cube’s revered role as Doughboy in 1991’s John Singleton-directed film Boyz N The Hood.
