30 years ago today (2/26/95), former Led Zeppelin duo Jimmy Page and Robert Plant kicked off a year-long world tour in Pensacola, Florida, supporting their live No Quarter reunion album. Led Zeppelin’s primary songwriters reunited on April 17, 1994, for the Alexis Korner Memorial Concert in Buxton, England. Later that year, on August 25 and 26, they recorded performances in London, Wales, and Morocco, incorporating Egyptian and Moroccan orchestration into several Led Zeppelin classics alongside four new songs. The performances aired on October 12 to great acclaim, leading to a tour that began in February 1995. Their Unplugged session was released as an album in November 1994 under the title No Quarter: Jimmy Page and Robert Plant Unledded.
