30 Years Ago Today – Radiohead Lands On U.S. Album Charts For First Time With Debut ‘Pablo Honey’

30 years ago today (5/29/93), Radiohead’s debut LP Pablo Honey landed on the U.S. album chart. The first stop is at #184. The album eventually gets to #32 and sells a couple of million copies worldwide and spawns the alternative-mainstream radio hit “Creep.” The album also produced two other charting singles, “Anyone Can Play Guitar” and “Stop Whispering.” Check out Radiohead play one of their most shocking performances ever at the MTV Beach House in 1993, where they performed “Anyone Can Play Guitar”..
