30 years ago today (10/19/93), Rush released their fifteenth studio album Counterparts. Released two years after Roll The Bones, the trio worked quickly and fit into the grunge sounds of the day with thick and heavy songs that touched on themes of relationships, atop a more stripped-down rock focus. The first single, “Stick It Out”, was No. 1 on the Billboard Album Rock Tracks chart for four weeks.
