45 years ago today (2/10/78), Van Halen released its self-titled debut album, which introduced the world to the signature guitar style of Eddie Van Halen. Van Halen contained the band’s most enduring songs including ‘Runnin’ with the Devil’, ‘Ain’t Talkin’ ’bout Love’, ‘Jamie’s Cryin”, and their cover of The Kinks’ ‘You Really Got Me’.
