50 Years Ago Today – David Bowie Releases ‘Diamond Dogs’ Album

50 years ago today (5/24/74), David Bowie released his eighth studio LP, Diamond Dogs. Regarded as one of Bowie’s bonafide classics, the album contains an iconic cover and was, at the time, his most impressive work since Ziggy Stardust. Diamond Dogs saw Bowie take on multiple roles, including production, and play several instruments, such as guitar and saxophone. Listen to “Rock N Roll With Me” off Diamond Dogs.
