In an album that needs little explanation- 60 years ago today (3/22/63), The Beatles released their proper first album Please Please Me. The 14 songs combine a mixture of covers and originals that kicked off this “boy band” era of The Fab Four. John, Paul, George and Ringo really just were kids on this debut effort as their Beatlesque harmonies and melodic song gems were already in place here in ’63. Check out Please Please Me in full.
