Happy 30th birthday to Will Toledo, the creative voice and lyrics behind the ambitious Car Seat Headrest (born 8/23/92). With a discography numbered in the double digits, Toledo continues to challenge indie rock conventions even so far as wearing a hazmat mask as part of a new identity in January 20290, months before the pandemic shutdown even occurred. Car Seat continues to make year-end best-of lists, and reissue his prior overlooked projects while keeping the buzzing early 90s college rock guitar alive and well.
