Happy 70th birthday today to John Deacon of Queen (born 8/19/51) who has laid down some of the most iconic bass lines in rock history and has also served as the bottom strings for all of Queen’s history in their Freddie Mercury era. “Under Pressure,” “Another One Bites the Dust,” “Invisible Man,” “Dragon Attack,” – the list is endless of prime Deacon contributions.
