Happy 75th birthday to Neil Young (born 11/12/45). With over 40 albums of original material, plus numerous live albums and his ongoing Archive series, Young’s imprint on music and culture has also been solidified with his Pono music player and outspoken environmental and political views, some of those that include his involvement in starting Farm Aid. On February 23, 1971 Neil Young visited the BBC Television Centre in London to record a solo performance that would air as part of the BBC’s In Concert series – watch it below.
