Happy 83rd birthday today to Phil Lesh who was born on 3/15/40. The Grateful Dead founding member has played his role as bassist extraordinaire for an unrivaled live journey that has taken the bassist to a rewarding post-Grateful Dead career that nobody saw coming back in the mid-90s. Lets watch Phil bring it on “Broken Arrow” on the Dead’s final summer tour (6/21/95 Albany)
