Ten Years Ago Today -Waxahatchee Released Debut LP ‘American Weekend’

Ten years ago today (1/12/12), Waxahatchee (Kate Crutchfield), released her full-length debut LP titled American Weekend. Although the album didn’t propel her into the club headliner she is today, the song “Be Good” gained traction on NPR. 2013’s Cerulean Salt would really help Crutchfield gain the indie accolades she’s held down for the better part of a decade.
