Grateful Dead Tribute Night @ AT&T Park in San Francisco

Back on August 9th, 2010 the San Francisco Giants honored the 15th anniversary of Jerry Garcia’s death by hosting “Jerry Garcia Tribute Night” at AT&T Park. The tradition continued in subsequent years as “Grateful Dead Night” in 2011 and “Jerry Garcia’s 70th Birthday Celebration” in 2012. This year the Giants will welcome Deadheads to the ballpark for a special “Grateful Dead Tribute Night” on Monday, August 5th at AT&T Park when the home team takes on the Milwaukee Brewers.

Here’s a rundown of what to expect that night via the team’s website

The Giants invite you to come to the ballpark to celebrate one of the most legendary and coveted groups associated with the San Francisco music scene, The Grateful Dead! Your special event ticket package includes a ticket to the Monday evening game versus the Milwaukee Brewers, and a collector-edition Grateful Dead-themed Giants item! Members of the original band, as well as members of the Garcia family will be in attendance and participating in special pre-game components, such as the National Anthem! Proceeds from every special event ticket sold will be donated to various non-profits near and dear to the band’s heart. This special event is always one of the biggest of the year, and we look forward to your family, friends, and fellow Dead Heads supporting a great cause and celebrating the rich legacy of the Grateful Dead with the San Francisco Giants!

Tickets are available in many different price points through the team’s website.
