We love that HT faves Phish still have a great relationship with the bar which hosted dozens of the band’s performances in their early days – Burlington, Vermont’s Nectar’s. On Friday, April 19th, the group’s Waterwheel Foundation charitable arm is throwing a benefit at Nectar’s where attendees will be able to listen to the vinyl version of Lawn Boy the day before everyone else gets to hear the exclusive Record Store Day release.
WaterWheel is suggesting attendees donate $5. Each $5 donation will get you an entry to a raffle with prizes including Lawn Boy on vinyl, an autographed Phish poster and two tickets to see the band play at SPAC this summer. All proceeds from the event will go towards Women Helping Battered Women.
The fact that a good relationship exists with the bar represents a very good thing to read about. I’m so glad that the relationship is like this!
