Named after the knit sweaters Bill Cosby wore on his 1980s “The Cosby Show,” Cosby Sweater like Anthrax about 14 years ago is mired in an “oops our name” era. Although Cosby has denied the accusations, the comedian has been accused of many crimes over the past couple months. And now Cosby Sweater is dropping any references of The Cos as the Indianapolis funk trio switches its name to Turbo Suit.
The band is launching a tour beginning Jan. 14 in Allston Mass.
