AC/DC Makes Live Return at Grammys, Drummer Chris Slade Rejoins

AC/DC played their first live performance in 4 years at the Grammy Awards Sunday night with a performance of the title track of its latest album, “Rock Or Bust”, followed by an edited version of the group’s classic song “Highway To Hell”. This was the first performance of the new lineup of the band featuring Stevie Young (replacing uncle Malcolm Young on rhythm guitar) and drummer Chris Slade returning to the fold from his five year stint with the band in the early 90’s as Phil Rudd continues to deal with legal issues in New Zealand.

  1. I like other people felt like I didn’t want to watch the Grammy’s after AC/DC was done. Chris Slade is a seasoned drummer and did a great job. It will only get better. They rocked the grammy’s and did a great job with the rhythm guitar replacement also. Well done AC/DC. Keep on rocking . It was a very entertaining couple of songs.
