Shakey Graves made his transition of playing the smallest clubs in Austin to making his Letterman debut with “Dearly Departed” off 2014’s …And The War Came. Special guest Esme Patterson joined him and like Shakey showed no signs of nerves as Letterman followed with a typical giddy response.

Forget the husband/wife duo thing for a sec – mother son duo from Kansas City Madisen Ward and the Mama Bear made their network TV debut with “Silent Movies. Watch out for this up and coming family affair at Bonnaroo and Newport Folk.

Wow, if a new Black Sabbath ever was reborn in 2015- take a listen and look at Sweat Lodge. These Austin psych /blues/hard rockers delivered the medicine and more on Carson Daly.
