Despite persistent rumors that Paul McCartney would be headlining the 2015 Firefly Festival, the lineup today was revealed minus the Beatle. Kings of Leon and The Killers were announced as two of the three headliners with a third headliner to “be revealed at a later date.”
Even though McCartney is not yet confirmed for the festival, fellow Brits like Morrissey, Bastille, Charlie XCX and The Kooks will be at The Woodlands near Dover International Speedway June 18-22.
Other big names slated for this year’s edition of Firefly include Gary Clark, Jr. Snoop Dogg, Run the Jewels and Kid Cudi, rockers and singer/songwriters Modest Mouse, Foster the People, Hozier, Cage the Elephant and electronic artists Zedd, Empire of the Sun and Steve Aoki.
