David Gilmour Announces First Solo Tour Since 2006

Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour is heading out on the road again for his first tour in almost a decade. The iconic guitarist will also release a yet untitled new solo album – his first since 2006′s On An Island – at the same time. His last tour which spurned the live album Live in Gdansk (below) included Pink Floyd founding member Richard Wright on keys who succumbed to cancer in 2008 and was the reason why Pink Floyd released their final album The Endless River in 2014.

The tour of the UK and Europe in September includes three nights at the Royal Albert Hall as well as gigs in a Roman amphitheatre in Croatia and venues in Italy, France and Germany.
