Bring on the half-naked high-school chicks: Hidden Track’s got a MySpace page. We like to start trends, and since we haven’t heard much about this whole online networking endeavor, I think we’re cutting edge once again. Tomorrow we’re gonna set up a YouTube account and be totally ahead of the curve.
While you ponder whether we’d make a good friend on MySpace, let’s check out a small sampling of the week that was here at Hidden Track:
- Bonnaroo names its SuperJam, calls Ben Harper “guitar wizard”
- The next Beetles? Wilco trumpets German efficiency
- Two losers just can’t go a week without covering The Phish: Page hits the Irving Fillmore Plaza and the skinny on Trey’s new album
- Akon tosses a little white boy from the stage a la John Medeski
- Celebrating 15 years since the creation of the H.O.R.D.E. tour
- A first for hippies: moe.down achieves more than musical diversity
- Seattle brings a Slew of talent to Bumbershoot 2007
- And don’t forget to cup the balls: Check out our regular features — Grousing The Aisles went DVD, Stormy Mondays brought us two jazz installments, and the daily Pullin’ ‘Tubes archives is rife with sweet videos
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a cold shower to take and a hard drive to erase…
