- Paul McCartney returned to Liverpool on Saturday night to play a benefit concert for The Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts with his band. Besides the usual selection of gems from his Beatles, Wings and solo days, he also busted out a song he had never played live: A Day In The Life. You can download the show over at T.U.B.E. - The Austin City Limits Festival schedule came out today, and as usual there are a few major conflicts. For instance Beck goes up against Robert Plant and Alison Krauss. Pete provides much more analysis over at IckMusic.
- It looks like the Weezer boys haven’t had enough viral video fun with their new single, Pork & Beans. They’ve enlisted Tay “Chocolate Rain” Zonday to perform an acoustic version of the tune with Weezer rhythm guitarist Brian Bell for the band’s YouTube channel.
