Last week, Oasis kicked off their brief, mostly Canadian-centric North American tour with Ryan Adams & The Cardinals. Before the Brit-rockers head back across the pond for a lengthy UK run, they will play a rare club gig on September 12 at New York’s Terminal 5 – which will be reconfigured for the occasion. The band plans to showcase songs from their upcoming album Dig Out Your Soul (which will hit streets on October 7) for fans lucky enough to get in.
Tickets are only being made available through a special on-line registration process – which ends this Wednesday at noon. Ducats will run 50 bucks a piece, with a limit of two – so good luck.
If the Brothers Gallagher brand of Brit-rock isn’t for you, than maybe one of these recently announced tour will be…
- Hipster tour alert: Black Kids join forces with The Virgins (begins: 09/19)
- Garage rock revivalists King Khan & The BBQ Show play 29 shows in 37 days (begins: 10/27)
- Psychedelic hard-rockers Dead Confederate line up a fall run (begins: 09/12)
- Get your untz on as Jamtronica stalwarts STS9 and Lotus will both be on the road (begins: 10/22 & 09/24)
- 17 piece rock ensemble Dark Meat will cram onto small club stages (begins: 09/17)
- Warren Haynes will log some time with Gov’t Mule starting at the end of October (begins: 10/30)
Finally, our favorite accordion fueled Americana band The Felice Brothers will spend the next two months on the road for a cross-country headlining tour. The band will bring their signature brand of boozy, bar band Americana with like-minded folk-roots acts AA Bondy and Deer Tick will splitting support duties. The group wrap the tour with a special stop at the traveling Spiegeltent on November 2, with a show that will close out the venue’s New York City season.
