While we don’t have the full list of Classic TAB Fall Tour dates yet, another date seems to have leaked. On October 19 Big Red brings Classic TAB to Higher Ground in South Burlington, VT. Tickets go on sale on September 12 at 11am.
What’s interesting about the listing for this show on Higher Ground’s website is that it seems to indicate that the horns and Cyro will be a part of this tour:
Composer/vocalist/guitarist Trey Anastasio is, of course, the guitarist and singer for Phish, and he also leads his own horn-filled big band which has released numerous albums over the past few years. Anastasio makes his long awaited return to VT with his classic TAB lineup offering electrifying big band arrangements of his classic songs, replete with big horns and dazzling Brazilian percussive stylings.

I’m guessing that’s just a bad copy/paste job on the Higher Ground website and we’ll see a tour of the quartet Classic TAB, but we shall see. . .
