It’s the third week of Phil Lesh and Friends’ Nokia marathon, and since last week, we’ve seen a presidential election. But almost more importantly, a Warren sit-in as well as this past Sunday’s monster second set.
For this week’s Stormy Mondays, however, we’re rolling back to the first Sunday’s second set, when Larry strapped on the mandolin and Jackie the acoustic guitar for a long, beautiful and mostly acoustic jam from Uncle John’s Band > China Cat > The Eleven. Add Barry Sless on electric guitar and you have a perfect 40 minutes of warm, warm music for a cold night.
