Hampton Countdown: Poster Show

Over the next 10 days we’ll keep you updated on events happening down in the Hampton area during next weekend’s Phish shows. Up first, we’ve got some interesting news for all the poster collectors out there. Shawn Hughes & Jason Kaczorowski have put together a convention of sorts called BPC III: Phamily Reunion at the Best Western Coliseum Inn & Suites on W. Mercury Blvd. within walking distance of the Mothership. Long-time Phish poster artist and graphic designer Jim Pollock will be on hand meeting and greeting collectors, personalizing art and offering new releases.

Tickets are $10.00 and can only be purchased by calling the Best Western Coliseum Inn & Suites direct at 757-838-5011. Other artists scheduled to attend include Justin Helton, AJ Masthay, Ryan Kerrigan, Bruce Horan, Fred Hosman, Tripp and Noah Phence. Also, Pete Mason, creator of the 400+ page one-of-a-kind book Phan Art will be selling copies of the book. Many of the artists featured throughout the book will be on hand to autograph their contributions along with showcasing and selling their limited edition wares. Pete gave us an advance look at Phan Art and it’s a must add to any phan’s collection. Highly recommended.
