The Allman Brothers Band 40th Anniversary run has kicked off at the newly renovated Beacon Theatre and they’ve set the bar high with their first show. Legendary performers Taj Mahal and Levon Helm joined the Brothers tonight along with Helm’s bandmates Theresa Williams and Larry Campbell.

The Allmans return to the stage for night two this evening. If you can’t make it to the show, you should throw down for a Moogis subscription to stream the 14 remaining shows. Both the sound and audio were crystal clear and I felt like I was part of the action even though I was sitting on my couch.
