As we mentioned earlier this month, March comes in like a lion and goes out with a slew of festival announcements. Today, the lineup for two festivals – Denver’s Mile High Festival and Louisville’s Forecastle Festival – have been announced with jam rockers Widespread Panic atop both lists.
The eighth annual Forecastle Festival takes place on July 10 – 12 at Riverfront Belvedere in Lousville, KY. So far, the lineup includes Widespread Panic, The Black Crowes and The Avett Brothers with over 65 acts to be announced in the coming months. Tickets are available now for $40 per day or $100 for the whole weekend.
The Mile High Music Festival returns for year number two on July 18 & 19 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City. Widespread Panic passes up their annual Red Rocks run to headline both nights of this festival. Joining Panic will be the aggressive sounds of Tool, Denver-based The Fray, Ben Harper & Relentless 7 and many other acts. Single day passes for the Mile High fest run $90 and two-day passes are set at $162.50.
