HT contributor Mike Sherry alerted us that the concert schedule for The Mountain Winery, high above the Silicon Valley, has been released and of particular note is a listing for prog-rock legends Yes with special guests Asia at a show scheduled for July 3. Asia features Yes guitarist Steve Howe, who – apparently – will be doing double-duty at this particular show.
You might recall that Yes recently canceled their Jon Anderson-less world tour after bassist Chris Squire suffered an undisclosed medical emergency. We’re awaiting official word on what Yes lineup will play The Mountain Winery – and presumably other summer shows – but we’ve gotten no comment from the band’s publicist as of press time. We hope the band rights a wrong and brings Anderson back into the fold. We’ll keep you updated, but in the meantime tickets for the July 3rd show go onsale April 26th at 10AM PDT.

Is that a framed Asia poster?
The people at the framing store did not laugh at me.
Yes!
It’s not that Yes “rights a wrong.” Jon Anderson has a life-threatening medical situation, so he was not scheduled to be a part of their last (aborted) tour: http://jonanderson.com/news.html
