A number of legendary Fender Stratocaster players inlcuding Ronnie Wood, Joe Walsh, David Gilmour and Brian May assembled at London’s Wembley Arena on September 24, 2004 for a concert that celebrated the 50th anniversary of the iconic guitar. Brian May has been playing his own guitars for decades. He built his mainstay the “Red Special” himself, though a several companies have manufactured replicas, and has his own line of guitars. He’s also a PhD astrophysicist, ftw.
