Mike Gordon Announces March Tour

I guess the members of Phish aren’t into spending too much time off the road these days, as we’ve got a second band member hitting the road this winter. Phish bassist Mike Gordon has just announced an eight show run with his solo band that kicks off on March 5 at the tiny Revolution Hall in Troy, NY. Tickets for all eight shows are currently on-sale now through a real-time fan pre-sale at mikegordontickets.rlc.net.

The tour will take Mike’s band through the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states for stops at Toad’s Place in New Haven, CT (3/6); the Sherman Theatre in Stroudsburg, PA (3/7);  Rams Head Live in Baltimore, MD (3/9); the Jefferson Theatre in Charlottesville, VA (3/11); Philadelphia’s Theatre of the Living Arts (3/12); Pearl Street in Northampton, MA (3/13) and the Lebanon Opera House in Lebanon, NH (3/14).  The presale ends on Friday at 5PM EST.

  1. Gal dangit! One of these A-Holes better come out West! At least give us the Jon Fishman Experience! Portland loves the Phish.

  2. Can anyone shed some light onto my personal debate? I am a HUGE phish head and have based much of my income and free time around Phish’s reunion and subsequent touring. I only have so much money to go to shows and want to pick them wisely, but at the same time, I do understand the need to broaden my horizons toward other music and live performances.

Long story short, are Cactus shows worth it? Or should I wait for the Phish tour this summer. I have the same question about the TAB tour in Feb. but his tickets are 40 bucks a piece and Mike’s are 20.

    Any help?

  3. Jon, that’s such a personal decision but everyone who goes to see Cactus comes back raving about his band. Considering it should be a little while before Phish tours again, I’d suggest checking out one of Mike’s shows.
