Nearly a year after tickets went on sale, we’re finally approaching Pavement’s series of shows at Central Park Summerstage here in NYC. The band will visit Late Night with Jimmy Fallon in the middle of the run and one lucky fan will be able to play guitar with the band during the Sept. 23rd taping. Visit Fallon’s website to find out how to enter.
Let’s take a look at six stories we missed this week…
- iClips will rebroadcast two Trey Anastasio performances
- My Morning Jacket will join Levon Helm at a Ramble
- Primus will play Frizzle Fry in its entirety on Sept. 16
- The Treme soundtrack will finally come out on 9/28
- Crosby, Stills & Nash cover Beatles, Dylan on next LP
