SONG PREMIERE: DIGG – “What Did You Say”

As the term “jamband” has become one of open ended sounds and possibilities, Denver’s Digg relates to the core sole of the genre by keeping guitar, drums and bass at the forefront while never swaying from the temptations of spontaneity and improvisation. Digg started out in Denver, Colorado in 2012 by playing a variety of styles in the vein of rock, funk, blues, and jazz that felt second nature.  Over the years, Digg has supported acts such as George Porter Jr. of The Meters, Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds, The Main Squeeze, Orgone, Soul Rebels, The Revivalists, The Delta Saints, and Mike Dillon, and is looking to be a festival mainstay for years to come.

Digg is gearing up to release their first full-length album, There Are Days, everywhere on November 20, 2015 and Glide is premiering the bonus track “What Did you Say” (below). Combining  the prog rock leanings of fellow live stalwarts Umphrey’s McGee, Digg shows its heavier side on the track, mixing up-tempo with ferocity in seamless fashion.
