Zella Day Transforms Cambridge’s The Sinclair Into Her Own Room (PHOTOS)

Zella Day made her way to The Sinclair in Cambridge, Massachusetts and transformed the room into her own, treating the capacity crowd to a resolute and intimate performance.

The talented singer-songwriter opened with “High”, a euphoric anthem that – paired with dramatic full-spectrum lighting – set the tone for the rest of the evening. As expected, the set comprised a full sampling of impassioned songs from Kicker, with a soulful “Jameson” at the center, and an outstanding “Rhiannon” by Fleetwood Mac mixed in, but what truly surprised the reviewer was the cool urgency and unrelenting power explicit from start to finish. It’s as if Zella Day is on a path to stardom but not rushing it — she’s making the journey to the top while showing gratitude to her fans along the way.
