Edinburgh’s critically praised Young Fathers have announced a highly anticipated fall North American tour, fresh off of a blazing run of sold-out headline shows in Brooklyn & Los Angeles plus back to back performances at Hollywood Bowl supporting LCD Soundsystem and Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The tour kicks off November 9 in Los Angeles and culminates in New York City on November 20. Full list of dates below. Tickets on sale this Friday at 10 AM local times.
Young Fathers released their third album, Cocoa Sugar, via Ninja Tune on March 9. Featuring the singles “In My View,” “Lord” and “Toy,” Cocoa Sugar builds on the widespread acclaim of their two previous full-length records: 2014’s Mercury Prize winning DEAD and 2015’s White Men Are Black Men Too.
Last week, Young Fathers released the video for their latest single, “Toy.” The video sees the band reignite their creative relationship with renowned Stink Films director Salomon Ligthelm, who collaborated with the band on 2014’s “Mr Martyr.” Watch the video below…
