Last night (7/13/18), The Smashing Pumpkins kicked off their 43 date, (semi) reunion tour at Gila River Arena in Glendale, AZ. Back in February, Billy Corgan actually posted the setlist for this tour on his Instagram page, and apart from the running order, they stuck to their script. Opening with an acoustic “Disarm,” one of the many popular tracks from their breakout 1993 hit LP Siamese Dream the band peppered the set with everything from cover songs (David Bowie’s “Space Oddity,”Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide”, Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway to Heaven”) to lesser known B-sides like “Blew Away,” the back side of the aforementioned “Disarm,” which was last played in 2000. The Tour heads to Oklahoma City Saturday before winding through Texas. Setlist and videos below.
