SONG PREMIERE: Alex Bloom Confronts Digital Era Romance Via New Wave Brushed “Cam Girl”

Los Angeles area indie artist Alex Bloom has been racking up the plays on Spotify of late courtesy of “Cigarette” and the buzz track “Elevator.” With noteworthy press from various buzz-worthy publications, Bloom is beelining towards a career in line with other bonafide blog era artists like Bleachers. Glide is premiering his most recent track “Cam Girl” (below) a track of convincing experimental musicianship that combines new wave glamour and simple pop pleasures.

“Cam Girl deals with the topic of romance in a digital era,” says Bloom “I wanted to convey in this song that the feeling of having love or lust for another person can be the same whether it is experienced in real life, or in a non-physical space. What it means to connect as human beings has undergone an overhaul in this century.”
