Primus Supporting Slayer On Final Leg of Slayer’s Farewell World Tour

Primus announced today that they will support Slayer on the final leg of Slayer’s farewell world tour, alongside Ministry and Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals. The tour kicks off on November 2 at the ExploreAsheville Arena in Asheville, NC and sees the bands touring across the US, including a stop at Madison Square Garden on November 9, before wrapping up with Slayer’s final show at The Forum in Los Angeles on November 30 (all tour dates below). Tickets go on sale this Friday, July 12 at 10AM local; limited VIP packages will be available. Log on to www.slayer.net for all ticketing and package details.

The latest studio album, The Desaturating Seven, released in late 2017 on ATO Records, marks the return of the definitive Primus line-up: Claypool, guitarist Larry “Ler” LaLonde, and drummer Tim “Herb” Alexander — for its first album of original music since 1995. Most recently Claypool has been touring with Sean Lennon as the Claypool Lennon Delirium in support of their strong 2019 album South of Reality.
