The Soul Rebels Share 2020 Tour Dates

New Orleans brass/hip-hop ensemble The Soul Rebels continue building momentum with their new album Poetry In Motion – which released October 25th via their imprint Rebelution Music Group, on Artistry Music/Mack Avenue Music Group. Today, the band have announced a winter tour in support of the project that will take them to cities across the US, including dates with Matisyahu, Tank and the Bangas, and Big Freedia – who are also featured artists on the album.

Poetry In Motion is stacked with features including Robert Glasper, Trombone Shorty, and 2020 Grammy nominated artists Tank of Tank and The Bangas (Best New Artist) and PJ Morton (Best R&B Album, Best Traditional R&B Performance, Best R&B Song). The album hit the charts with a vengeance, debuting at #1 Contemporary Jazz, #11 on Current Rap chart, #14 Current R&B/Hip-Hop Album chart, #6 on the Current R&B Albums chart, and #149 on the overall Current Top Albums chart. They have received praise from Apple Music’s Ebro Darden, Billboard, Forbes, Hip Hop DX, OffBeat, Relix, and more. The Soul Rebels song “Greatness” was tapped by ESPN as the network’s official College Hoops Blockbuster promo song for the 2019-20 season.

This year The Soul Rebels also bring their musical virtuosity to the masses by providing an a cappella vocal introduction, harmony and backing vocals on Dave East featuring Nas’ track “Godfather 4”. Stay tuned for new music and collaborations from them in 2020.
