Davey Allen is a versatile singer-songwriter, musician, and artist. Allen’s work is deeply rooted in the vast American songbook and though his family migrated north from rural Tennessee in the 1950s his music retains a southern quality and grit. Allen has toured extensively with his band, Davey And The Midnights and as the keyboard player for the legendary Eric Burdon.
Glide is premiering the colorful and ’60s garage rock echoing “Already Know” from Allen that mixes keyboard pop alongside a sparkling & haunting groove. An accomplished keyboard player, Allen strides across the track with a fuzzy style reminiscent of rock’s early golden years like The Animals and The Doors.
“Already Know laments the breakup of my favorite band and explores the varying levels of self-awareness,” says Allen.
