On Saturday night July 31st, Phish played their first show in Georgia since 2018 and their third show of the unofficial “4.0” era when they hit up Alparetta’s Ameris Bank Ampitheatre. The band was scheduled to play Atlanta’s Piedmont Park in 2020, but that was cancelled as a result of the Covid pandemic. Phish came out in full force and delivered a tight two-set performance which included several big jams including a 25 plus minute Chalkdust Torture to open the second set.
