Scoobert Doobert is a multifaceted indie artist from Encinitas, California who has released five records in the last 3 years.
The song of the summer might have just hit us in January. Scoobert Doobert delivers a surprisingly pertinent sunny new single on “a song to quit your job to.” Unassuming from the top, the pop production is tasteful and void of over sheen. The lyrics are clever and intelligent yet the song is fun, light-hearted, and something just about everyone can get behind. Well done Scoobert Doobert.
“My first record Finding $d (Remastered) is a collection of songs written, recorded and mixed in a day. I had the flu when I recorded Gud Gud Medicine. My second record $WAMI$ is a nostalgic , all recorded in a bathrobe. My third record Dragon Ball $d is a hip-hopera, covering most of the DBZ story. My fourth record Masks and Monsters was recorded in North Park during lockdown. My fifth record Little Hug is about the process coming back into the world. My upcoming record Big Hug is about trying to give my listeners a big hug.”
