The Lemonheads have announced North American tour dates to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of their breakthrough 1992 album It’s A Shame About Ray. This fifth album from the Boston-based band featured lo-fi indie meets power pop 90s grandeur, yet it was a cover of Simon and Garfunkel’s “Mrs. Robinson,” which was released after the fact, that got this Evan Dando-fronted band in the spotlight: later the single was added to later pressings of It’s A Shame About Ray. At the time of principal recording, the band consisted of Dando(lead vocals, guitar), Juliana Hatfield (bass, backing vocals), and David Ryan (drums).
Guests on the tour included Rusty, The Nills, Bass Drum of Death, On Being An Angel and Hatfield.
