Earlier this year, it was announced that NOFX’s Fat Mike would be leading the way on a Punk Rock Museum that would be opening in downtown Las Vegas in 2023. The 12,000-square-foot building would become the home of some of the genre’s most cherished relics and immortalize the greats of Punk. On announcing the new museum they set the opening for January 13, 2023 but a new announcement from the team behind the Punk Rock Museum shows the official opening happening a few months later on March 10. While the pushed-back date isn’t the best news for fans who already purchased tickets for the January opening, that wasn’t the only news to come out of this announcement.
Beginning in April, some of the Punk legends featured in the museum will be giving personal tours of the new digs. The likes of Louiche Mayorga of Suicidal Tendencies, Noodles of The Offspring, Stacey Dee and Linh Le of Bad Cop/Bad Cop, Don Bolles of The Germs/45 Graves, Angelo Moore of Fishbone, Greg Hetson of Circle Jerks, Warren Fitzgerald and Joe Escalante of The Vandals, Pete Koller of Sick Of It All, Smelly of NOFX, Roger Miret of Agnostic Front, Intruder Blue of Masked Intruder, Scott Shiflett of Face To Face, Paddy Costello of Dillinger Four, and Zach Blair of Rise Against will be giving limited, guided tours with more legendary tour guides to be announced.
The museum is now offering pre-sale bundles for fans looking to get in the museum as soon as possible. The prices range between $100-$25,000 with the lower end offering simple tickets to the museum while the high end can get your name engraved on a bathroom stall and lifetime tickets.
