With the clocks changing and the weather warming up, festival fanatics are gearing up for a great summer of concerts and weekend road trips. The latest festival to throw its hat into the line-up ring is Seattle’s Bumbershoot festival, which set its dates and performers in stone with the announcement of its expansive line-up earlier today (March 23). Celebrating its 50th anniversary, this year’s Bumbershoot will take place Labor Day Weekend (September 2 & 3) and will feature some of the biggest names from multiple genres.
This year’s Bumbleshoot has the likes of Sunny Day Real Estate, Jawbreaker, Sleater-Kinney, Phantogram, and more taking up the headlining spots but don’t let this collection of rock icons fool you. Bumbleshoott is also bringing in the likes of A-Track, Benny The Butcher, Domi & JD Beck, and Durand Jones to add to the long list of incredible acts. The lineup also features the legendary band Ride performing their classic Going Black Again album from 1992. Some of the other acts include Temples, Descendents, Moderlove, Jacob Banks, and so many more.
