Tour Dates: Dispatch Returns

Back in 2007, Dispatch shocked the world when they reunited for three benefit shows at Madison Square Garden that sold out within hours of going on sale. The jam-pop trio, who originally disbanded back in 2002 followed by a handful of reunions over the the years, have been teasing their fans with a countdown clock on their website that recently revealed they will reunite for a six-date summer tour. The band, who will reportedly head into the recording studio prior to hitting the road, will kick off the tour on June 4 at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater, and will also play the first-ever concert at the 25,000 seat Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ on June 18.

As an added bonus, the band is currently giving away free digital downloads of all four of their studio albums as a thank you to fans who spread the word about their reunion by simply connecting with the band on Twitter or Facebook or by telling five friends via an email widget on their website.

If you’re not into a night with the reunited Dispatch, than maybe you’ll be interested in hitting one of these recently announced tours…

Finally, last year Soulive made Brooklyn Bowl their home away from home with their ten-show residency that was cleverly dubbed Bowlive. The organ-groove trio, who welcomed a plethora of special guests to the stage throughout the run, which included the likes of Charlie Hunter, Oteil Burbridge, Rahzel and DJ Logic, will once again return to the Bowl for another two-week, ten-show stand this March. The run will kick off on Tuesday, March 1st and continue from the 2nd to the 5th, and pick up again from the 8th to the 12th. Look for numerous Royal Family label mates to appear at Bowlive 2 including Lettuce, Adam Deitch, Nigel Hall and others.
