Twenty-five years after releasing the legendary Graceland album, Paul Simon returned to the country that provided inspiration for the LP, South Africa, recently to perform a number of tracks for a forthcoming documentary according to Billboard. Ladysmith Black Mambazo was on hand for Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes and Homeless and other musicians who performed on Graceland also lent their talents to Simon’s 11-song set. Where the documentary will air is not yet known, though the Billboard article mentions “it is in partnership with one of the cable networks.”
