As if the hot dogs, burgers, chicken, sausages, six pounds of steak and a table full of apps weren’t any indication, it’s Memorial Day, which if my history is correct marks the day we honor all the laborers killed in he building of the Lincoln Memorial. Tomorrow’s another day and another barbecue, but while we wait for daylight to break, let’s take a look back at a sample of the week that was around these parts.

- A couple of aging Brits got together for some Blind Faith tunes
- Come to think of it, Clapton will reunite with anyone these days
- New shit: Ween unveiled some cover art and a day to anticipate
- We took a look at some of the best second-generation rockers
- A lopsided deal: 10KLF trades Trey for String Cheese
- Jam in the Dam puts on the red light, adding more bands and more nights
- We got our Rocks Off, basking in Apollo Sunshine
- And don’t forget to check out the archives of the now-daily Pullin’ ‘Tubes, Grouse the Aisles, Love the Bad Music and Mix up your Friday.
Go ‘head, get your grill on and crank up the classic rock. It’s just tradition.
